INDIGENOUS PEOPLES MOVEMENT: #SAVEDFLAGS
Saving indigenous posts on Instagram to help save indigenous people in the Amazon.
CHALLENGE: The natives of the Amazon are becoming less visible every day, despite everyone knowing this problem.
INSIGHT: Instagram's save button resembles a flag, and its algorithm bumps up posts that are saved more than posts that are liked.
IDEA: Start a movement on Instagram where the more people save indigenous posts, the more visible their cause becomes.
Real citizens of the Amazon painted our symbol on their skins with body paint.
We took a series of photos with the help of native photographers.
The movement didn't just go viral - it went tribal.
For our Instagram posts, we simply asked people to save the content with #SavedFlags and share it.
