BRASIL GAME SHOW: HERE WE PLAY

Latin America’s biggest video game event was rebranded with the help of gaming's most iconic characters.

CHALLENGE: Give BGS a more modern look and create its first major ad campaign for the Brazilian market.

INSIGHT: BGS is so huge, everyone will be there — even the game characters themselves.

IDEA: With the concept HERE WE PLAY, we invited gamers through those they love the most: Their beloved game heroes and heroines.

Views: 6,940,000 (YouTube), 1,400,000 (Facebook), and 3,800 (Instagram)

This rebranding video was the first glimpse gamers got of Brasil Game Show’s new logo on social media before the big event. We gave the logo a fresh look that reflected the innovations in gaming, whilst staying true to the company’s essence — the passion fans have for BGS. For example, we kept the “play” button that symbolizes the video game controller, but we gave the letters a more streamlined look, inspired by big gaming and PC companies.
